A celebrant-led ceremony is a bespoke, personalised ceremony which has been created purely for you, and with you and your loved ones, whether it's a wedding, funeral, celebration of life, vow renewal or naming. It is meaningful, unique and just for you.

A registrar-led ceremony is more standardised in terms of ceremony and wording and formal and mainly covers the legal side of getting married.

Not yet, but we're hoping it'll change soon. Quite often my couples go to the Registry Office and do the required legal paperwork beforehand. Then they have their personalised celebration ceremony with me. If you need help with that then give me a shout.

Within reason anywhere. Your celebrant led ceremony does not have to be in a licensed building or open space. So feel free to choose your back garden or the beach or a wooded glade.

You can but it will cost you double the amount as you will be paying for the celebrant and the registrar. That is why I always suggest having the legal part done at a different time.

Absolutely!! That's what's so special about celebrants. All my scripts are about the couple or family, very individual, very personalised and very special. And I don't use AI.

For funerals I encourage my families to write their tributes and eulogies too as they know their family member in a way that I don't.

Totally! In fact I encourage my couples to write their own vows and commitments as they are far more meaningful and special than if I write them. And you don't have to share them with your other half until the day either. Of course, I'll help if you need any help or advice on what to write.

I wouldn't be doing my job if you weren't. It's your ideas and your story that make your ceremony. You will choose what goes in and what stays out. We will have a meeting where you tell me all about yourselves so that I can create the first draft before you sign off the final script.

If you want a religious element, then I make sure that goes in. If you want a symbolic ritual then we will discuss what type you'd like and include that too.

Ceremony length is usually around 30 minutes, sometimes a little longer if lots of people want to be involved, or there's lots going on. However we don't want people fidgeting in their seats because it's too long.

Absolutely. You are free to include whoever you want in your ceremony, so go for it!

I'll travel as far as needed. Destination weddings and I'll get my passport ready. UK weddings anywhere, as living in Warwickshire I'm in the centre of the country. For venues outside of my 25 mile venue radius there's a small charge of 45p per mile.

As soon as you can. Popular dates go very quickly and I wouldn't want you to miss out. I only do 1 ceremony a day and I book on a first come, first served basis. But if you've decided to get married quickly, then still contact me - you never know.
