A funeral is not a day in a lifetime...
It's a lifetime in a day.

In times of loss, a ceremony that honours the life of a loved one is paramount.

Each person grieves uniquely, yet we share the desire to pay tribute to their memory.

Hi, I'm Lesley Coles.

Back in 2018, I faced the loss of my mother, and had the privilege of arranging a funeral that truly reflected her..
It embraced her favourite songs, cherished readings, and heartfelt farewells.

Now, I extend this same dedication to you, crafting a celebrant led ceremony. It will be a celebration of life that celebrates your loved one's legacy for ever.

I’m an independent celebrant based in Warwickshire, but happy to travel to the surrounding counties in Middle England. I’ve been a teacher for many years, producing custom-made lessons and listening to parents and children regarding their needs, as they are all individuals and need individual attention.

This ability to create something individual and special for your loved one's funeral is what I can do for you as your celebrant. Together, we'll create a bespoke tribute that resonates with the essence of them to ensure they're remembered fondly.

Why choose me?

Having experienced the loss of many family members, I understand the profound need to preserve someone’s legacy. My dedication to honouring their memory by sharing their story drives me forwards.

So entrust me with the task of crafting a heartfelt tribute for your loved one's celebration of life. I am committed to ensuring that this day is filled with the love and affection they deserve, in whatever form you’d like.

How does it work?

After your initial contact or a referral from the Funeral Director, I’ll phone you to arrange a meeting.

During this meeting I’ll listen as your share stories about your loved one’s life, preference and details about the funeral location.

I will come to your house and listen to you as you tell me all about your loved one.

I’ll then craft a heartfelt eulogy filled with cherished memories which you can review to ensure all dates, times, and facts are accurate. I’ll co-ordinate with the Funeral Director to cover all the important details we've discussed, such as your music choices, whether you want a webcast or a photo montage. I’ll create a draft order or service for you which the Funeral Director will confirm with you and get printed.

On the day I will be there to support you and deliver your loved one’s eulogy, ensuring everything goes smoothly.

Ultimately my goal is for you to look back on the day with pride, knowing you gave your loved one the send off that befitted their unique essence.

If you later decide to have an interment or scattering of ashes, I would be honoured to officiate those ceremonies too.

If a traditional funeral doesn’t feel right, have you thought about something different?

How about a celebration of life where the coffin is part of the event and then has a private family send-off? Did your loved one have a passion for theatre or sport? The funeral could be held in a local theatre, golf club, or sports venue to reflect their interests.

Or, have you considered planning your own funeral? We can discuss your wishes and plan everything in advance, ensuring the service is exactly as you want it. It doesn’t have to be a crematorium or churchyard service if you prefer something else.

My commitment is to ensure we leave a lasting impression on all who gather to celebrate their life.

Together we'll create a celebration of life that will be Practically Perfect.
