When we are born our parents proudly choose our name. A name they love for its individuality, or a family name that is passed down through the generations.
It will be a delight to help create with you a meaningful and special naming day acknowledging the giving of a name to a precious person.
Not everyone wants a religious christening and by choosing me as your celebrant to officiate on your naming day, I am able to offer that little something different for you and your new arrival.
Together we will write that special ceremony to suit your own individual occasion. This may be welcoming your new baby or welcoming a child through adoption.
Each family occasion will be different and I will offer that uniqueness in the ceremony I write and officiate.
I love family. Some of my best times have been spent with my children and grandchildren. And that is why you can relax and know your naming day is in good hands. If you’d like supporters for your child then don’t be afraid to choose some.
We start with a friendly discovery call where I can get to know you and your family and you can get to know me.
During this chat, I'll learn all about who’s who and why you are considering a naming ceremony.
This will help you make that important decision whether to book me for your special day.

After our call we will have a face to face meeting where I can meet you and your family and find out all about the type of naming ceremony you want. It could be welcoming a new born into your family; Celebrating the adoption of a child; or marking the joining of two families as one. Whatever the occasion, we’ll create that perfect ceremony to celebrate it.
I will then go away and write your unique naming ceremony tailored just for you. It will tell your story and how you have arrived at this special day as a family. We can discuss including a special ritual to mark the occasion, or perhaps incorporating guide parents if we are celebrating the arrival of a baby.
